The RO35 Drinking Water System is a Four-Stage Filtering System:
Fine Filtration
The first stage mixed prefilter reduces sediment, sand, dirt and fine particles
as small as 5 microns...15 times smaller than the diameter of a human hair...
as well as filtering chlorine.
Reverse Osmosis Membrane
Water is forced through a semi-permeable membrane. Most of the dissolved
solids and contaminants are left behind and flushed down the drain.
Post Filter
Granulated activated carbon polishes the water on its way to the 3.2-gallon
pressurized waterkeeper for storage.
In-line Activated Carbon Post Filter
Located after the waterkeeper, it adds a final polish to the water as the water
flows to the faucet.
