The CareSoft EM microprocessor features NOVRAM with permanent program memory and maintains all regeneration settings, even if power is off or unit is unplugged for long periods of time. As
an added feature, the microprocessor
has a 2-hour capacitor backup for power outages. Another feature is the LED display showing time of day, or gallons remaining, in addition to the different regeneration cycles the CareSoft EM
goes through while self cleaning.

CareSoft’s brine system accurately measures brine quantity and eliminates wasteful oversalting, resulting in lower operating costs. The safety float
assembly prevents overfilling of
saltkeeper for added protection.

Soft water is added to the saltkeeper 2 hours before the scheduled self-cleaning cycle. This produces the highest quality brine possible, and eliminates extra
moisture buildup in the saltkeeper, thereby preventing bridging problems with salt.

CareSoft’s insulated sleeve prevents moisture buildup and keeps mineral cylinder
dry all year round.
